SUBLIME KINGDOM LIGHT TOPIC: The Potency of God's wisdom. TEXT: Proverbs 8:15 - 18 By me kings reign and rulers issue decrees that are just; by me princes govern, and nobles—all who rule on earth.I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. INTRODUCTION: Wisdom is the process of discernment in which choices are weighed and alternatives judged. By wisdom kings and nobles govern the earth. Christ is the wisdom of God ( 1 Cor. 1:30). MESSAGE: Wisdom is that notable attribute of man that enables him to live a discretive life.We have two kinds of wisdom which are worldly wisdom and godly wisdom. Worldly wisdom is sponsored and governed by self and flesh. This kind of wisdom affirms to the standards of the world. Meanwhile, godly wisdom comes from the Lord. It gives the capacity to see things from God's perspective and respond according to the biblical principles. Wisdom of God surpasses every other wisdom. It was divinely established by God. It supplies the revelational knowledge that exposes man to great measure of understanding. Wisdom provides directive patterns of doing things that is apparently different from the ways of the world. It directs and teaches us the way we can channel our resources and skills to produce better results.Wisdom of God does not come to men arbitrary it comes instead to those who diligently seek for it. Jesus is the custodian of God's wisdom. Therefore, if we must seek for His wisdom, we must first seek to know Him, accept Him in our lives and then, be at peace with Him. It can also be access through studying of the word of God. The potency God's wisdom is revealed in the disposition it has to direct and honour men.His wisdom brings honour and riches to the diligent seekers of it. Thus, a man of wisdom is held in high prominence. Though wisdom of God may appear to be foolishness before the eyes of the world, yet, it is the authentic asset that exalts those who submit to it. It supplies us with lasting wealth. Any wealth gotten from the wisdom of God can stand the test of time. It also sustain our walk with God. Therefore, we must seek for the wisdom of God in order to live righteously in the perverse generation.. COUNSEL: Seek for the wisdom of God and live aright.
