Prayer and Complain

SUBLIME KINGDOM LIGHT. TOPIC: Prayer and Complain. TEXT: Exodus 16:2 [2]Then the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. INTRODUCTION: God is the God who performs miracles freely for His children and at the same time tests their patience and faith capacity. To enjoy His wonders, we must take the posture of prayer and faith. MESSAGE: In this passage, we can see the behavior played by the children of Israel. They grumbled bitterly against the same God who brought them out of the land of captivity (Egypt) by His outstretched arm and led them by Himself till they crossed the red Sea. What an inexplicable miracle the Lord did before their eyes. Nations surrounding them were overwhelmed with fear and amazement when they heard of it. That miracle was to prove to them that He is THE GOD. It is the evidence of what He can do and how much He is ready to defend His own. Yet, this people didn't recognize and appreciate God for what He is committed to do for them. When they were confronted by yet another of wilderness challenges and encounters, they began to mutter words against the Lord of Host who had seen them through the storm of the past. Why not pray to God instead of going around to complain to people?. Why not pray instead of thinking and worrying?. Meanwhile, this is not what God demands from us. Anything we do aside prayer when we are confronted by the storms and hurdles of life is against the will of God for us. We always choose to put God last in order of priority when it comes to solving the arising matters in our lives. For how long shall we continue to make God a stranger in our live?. Is it not enough for us, what God has been doing for us to trust Him?. Are they not sufficient for us to be acquainted with His power and capacities?. Can't we recall all of them accurately, those miracles and wonderful things He had done for us in the past and decide to trust Him desperately? It is pertinent we know that every stage of life presents its own challenges and matter to settle, but it takes a rugged spiritual man of faith and a man who desperately plug himself to God to know His take over those problems to prevail. FOOD FOR THOUGHT: God cuts off from a man of unbelieving heart easily than he can think. COUNSEL: God is more than able to see us through in life, therefore, let us stick to Him in prayer instead of complaining or rebeling PRAYER: Lord help the depraved state of my heart and cause me to fear you with reverence. in Jesus name Father cause me to choose prayer in the place of complaint or rebeling in Jesus name... Amen. PROPHETIC DECLARATION: Receive the grace to move closer to God than before in Jesus name.. May the spirit of prayer and faith posses you in Jesus name... Amen @ Sublime Revival Ministry
