SUBLIME KINGDOM LIGHT. TOPIC: Faith. TEXT: Hebrews 11:1 - 3. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.(KJV) FOOD FOR THOUGHT: The strength of a child of God is tested in his ability of believing without an evidence. INTRODUCTION: Faith is the assurance we have for what we hope for in God, and conviction of the things not seen. Faith is one of the armours of God we can use to stand against the wiles of devil. No man can please God without it. MESSAGE: Faith is the feeling of assurance or belief we have in the reality of God without the prove of seeing Him physically. This stresses to the confidence and trust we have in His abilities and promises. Faith is a posture the heart ought to assume in order to experience great miracle in our journey with God. It shows our ability of dependency and reliance on God. Moreover, faith tells our degree of belief in God to the point of not seeing any sign to confirm it. Our salvation was founded on the basis of faith, therefore, we must live by faith and have attitude of faith if we must sustain it. As children of God, we must believe Him because we don't have other alternatives and because everything God created was made out of what we cannot see not want we can see (Heb. 11:3). Meanwhile, our problem is that we always try to consider the possibility of these things coming true. Consequently inviting doubts and mistrust in our hearts. Our Patriach, Abraham still believed God even when reasons to doubt Him was obvious; he did not weaken in faith, but grew strong instead in his trust in God (Romans 4: 19 - 20).Thus, it was reckoned to him as righteousness. Today, the Lord is calling us to the consciousness and lifestyle of faith. He can be provoked into actions by our faith, because He is God who is driven by our faith. COUNSEL:Respond to God with a faith that can stir His power in your life. PRAYER: O Lord, increase my faith in time like this. In Jesus Name. Amen.
